What this website collects
This website does not ask you to create an account. It does not use cookies, advertising or tracking tools.
The enquiry form on our Contact page does not send or store anything on this website. When you press "Send on WhatsApp", it opens WhatsApp on your device with your details filled in. Your details are put into the WhatsApp link, so WhatsApp receives them when it opens. Nothing reaches us until you press send in WhatsApp.
As with most websites, the company that hosts our site processes basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages to you and protect the site from attacks.
When you contact us or book a stay
When you message us on WhatsApp or call us, we receive the details you share, such as your name, phone number, travel dates and number of guests. We use them only to answer your questions, manage your booking and contact you about your stay.
When you check in, every guest aged 18 and over shows a valid government photo ID and we keep a copy. Younger guests do not need one; a parent's ID is enough.
We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing. We share only what is needed for your trip: with the people who work at the camp, with a taxi driver, horse or mule handler or guide we arrange for you, with the hotels and drivers we book for a Panch Kedar Yatra, or with the authorities if the law requires it.
WhatsApp handles your messages under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We delete your booking details, such as your name, phone number and messages, within 30 days after your stay. We keep only the payment records that tax law requires us to keep. We delete the copy of your ID within 30 days after your stay.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, as provided under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Contact us on the phone or WhatsApp number above and we will reply within 7 days.
